Well what can I say, this world loses another star man and Gentlemen.
I had the pleasure of working with Jim for many years when we were on the buses together. I can vividly remember the day when he knocked on my front door asking me if I could get him a job as a bus driver. I got him an application form and the rest is all history. I worked with him for many years until we parted company due to my promotion, after which I was out of the limelight. Jimmy was always a friendly, happy guy and always up for a laugh. Most of all in my mind he was a very intelligent and knowledgeable man. You could never get one over on Jimmy, he always knew what he wanted and stood ground, especially in a work related dispute.
Our loss is Shirley‘s gain, I bet she was at those gates waiting for you with open arms matey.
Enjoy your new lives together and R.I.P. “Big Man”
Sending our love to all the family from:-
